The following are terms of a legal agreement between you and TechPros and its associated companies. By accessing, browsing and/or using anything on this site and the server it’s hosted on, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms below and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.If you do not agree with these terms, don’t use this site & services provide by TechPros.

1. Authorization

The client authorizes TechPros to conduct an evaluation of the machine sent to determine the nature of the damage and provide an estimate of repair cost and timing. The evaluation is fee is € 20 for windows machine & € 35 for Apple machine’s and no work beyond this evaluation will be charged without explicit client approval.The client authorizes TechPros, its employees, and agents, to receive and transport this media/equipment/data to, from and between their facilities.

Evaluation is free if customer go ahead with repair with TechPros.

2. Legal Rights

The client is the legal owner or authorized representative of the legal owner of the property and all data and components contained therein sent to TechPros.

3. Limited Liability

It is Customer’s responsibility to check their machine before leaving the shop. TechPros does not accept any claims or responsibility once the item left the premises,unless it is covered by TechPros warranty.

TechPros shall not be liable for any claims regarding the physical functioning of equipment/media or the condition or existence of data on storage media supplied before, during or after service.

In no event will TechPros be liable for any damage to the laptop/desktop, loss of data, loss of revenue or profits, or any special, incidental, contingent, or consequential damages, however caused, before, during or after service even if TechPros has been advised of the possibility of damages or loss to persons or property. TechPros liability of any kind with respect to the services, including any negligence on its part, shall be limited to the contract price for the services.

The client and TechPros agree that the sole and exclusive remedy for unsatisfactory work or data shall be, at TechPros option, additional attempts by TechPros to recover satisfactory data or refund of the amount paid by the client. The parties acknowledge that the price of TechPros services would be much greater if TechPros undertook more extensive liability.

The client is aware of the inherent risks of injury and property damage involved in laptop/desktop repair, including without limitation, risks due to destruction or damage to the machine, media, or data and inability to repair the machine or recover data, including those that may result from the negligence of TechPros, and assumes any and all known risks of injury and property damage that may results.

4. Confidentiality

TechPros agrees not to disclose any and all information or data files supplied with, stored on, or recovered from client’s equipment except to employees or agents of TechPros subject to confidentiality agreements or as required by law.

5. Payment

Payment is due in full prior to release of the machine (whether shipped, or picked up), unless by special previous arrangement.The client is financially responsible for all shipping costs, custom duties and taxes to and from TechPros.

6. Warranty

7 days warranty on software repairs. 3 months warranty on hardware provided / installed by TechPros. TechPros makes no warranty on data, express or implied, and TechPros disclaims any data warranty of any kind. All claims should be made in a reasonable time frame in the case of software repairs we deem this to be within 48 hours. Warranty on hardware does not cover any physical damage , liquid damage or negligence on the part of user. TechPros reserved the right to determine the cause of the fault. Please note all warranties will be void straight away if parts or software provided by TechPros been modified or tempered by anyone .

7. Agreement

The parties shall submit all disputes relating to this Agreement (whether contract, tort or both) to arbitration, in accordance with the Rules of the American Arbitration Association/UK business rules. Either party may enforce the award of the arbitrator in a Court of competent jurisdiction. The parties understand that they are waiving their rights to a jury trial. The arbitration shall take place in the Country in which the TechPros laboratory performing the services is located and the laws of the State/County in which such laboratory is located shall apply.

8. Service Agreement

TechPros staffs installs software weather provided or requested or required for a efficient running of your machine .TechPros only installs trial versions of paid software or software that is licensed to the public under the GPL (General Public License). TechPros does not charge for the cost of software, we only charge for our labor. In all circumstance its customers responsibility to keep their software Licensed.

Please Note: Physically broken machines cannot be returned to factory condition.Its customer’s responsibility to check their machines before leaving TechPros premises. TechPros will not accept any claims once machine left the premises unless it is covered by TechPros warranty.

If you encounter any problems with repairs carried out by TechPros, we must be notified in written or by email within 24 hours, otherwise we accept no responsibility.If our services and or work are not up to your expectation, Please notify staff in store in person and management by email on info@techpros.ie within 24 hours of receipt. If extra hardware or software is required to rectify same, the customer is liable to pay the cost excluding paid initially for repair.

9. Diagnosis Report

Diagnosis will only be completed to the direction of the problem or fault been described by customer on booking form and only valid for that time . Please note there could be additional faults or issue’s with machine which can only be found once initial fault is secured or fixed.

It is the customers responsibility to describe all faults they wish repaired when filling out booking form. no other faults will be repaired unless they are obvious to our engineers and this remains at our discretion. If you wish for further faults to be diagnosed for other than what is described on the check in receipt, Please book for full NCT check up and this service will cost extra.

10. No Fix, No Fee Policy

Our No Fix, No Fee policy means –

If Technician is unable to diagnose your problem or does not have knowledge or skill to repair the problem. you don’t have to pay.

But If the engineer provides diagnosis of a failed component or able to resolve the problem or affect the repair, but is only prevented from doing so by the customer requesting not to proceed with the work, then the customer has to pay diagnosis fee.

Please Note : If customer once gave the permission to go ahead with repair and then change his mind while job is been finished or in process . Customer will be charged minimum 1 hr labor of € 49 towards the time spend by Technician.

11. Return and Refund Policy

a. Your original receipt or invoice , Booking form is required else return or refund can’t be processed.

b. If you are not satisfied with a product you purchased from us and you return the product with the original receipt or invoice within 28 days from the original invoice date, you may exchange the product, except as explained below.

c. Special order Computer Systems or Parts are non-refundable and non-returnable. un-opened computer parts may be returned within 28 days from the original invoice provided no damage has been done.

d. Any product that is returned without all item(s) included with the original product is non-refundable and non-returnable.

e. Opened software, games, videos, or computer parts are non-refundable and non-returnable.

f. Used items are non-refundable and non-returnable.

12. Collection & Storage

Once machine is ready for collection either repaired or non- repairable customer will be contacted by means provided to us while booking please collect machine within 7 days otherwise storage fee of €20 per week will be applicable . Any machine not collected within 1 month will be either disposed of or sold to recover the cost of parts & time spent by Technician on machine.TechPros can’t be held responsible for any kind of loss . We will do our best to contact customer by all the means provided to us.

All machine will be securely wiped before disposed of or before to been sold.
